A Patriot’s Guide to the 4th of July at Walt Disney World

Un-patriots need not apply. WALT DISNEY WORLD, FL -- It's upon us once again -- that glorious day where we celebrate our nation's independence from the oppressive monarchy of Great Britain. The day where people prove their patriotism by getting drunk and then playing with explosives. But let's say that you're not at home, but on vacation. How do you celebrate freedom while at Walt Disney World? Grab your Eagles [Ed.: No, not those Eagles. Or those. Ok, maybe that one]! We're ... Read more

Toy Story Land opening canceled

Guests expecting the new land to open today will be disappointed, but there's a good reason for the shutdown. DISNEY'S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS, FL -- In a shocking turn, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts and Spas has announced that the new Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios will not open after all. Guests who have endured years of construction walls and have had today's date circled on their calendars (or whatever the iPhone equivalent of that is) for months are sure to ... Read more

It's already corny and cheesy. Now your Jungle Cruise will be meaty, veggie, and dessert-y! MAGIC KINGDOM, FL -- Statistics show that 83.7% of people who go on cruises find the buffet their favorite meal. Disney has taken note of this and has announced that coming this fall, all of the cruises offered on the Jungle Cruise will feature a (mostly) freshly-cooked lunch buffet and a farm-to-table dinner buffet on the Lido deck. Our favorite Disney (the company) spokesperson, Jun Disney (no relation, ... Read more

Survey: most Universal visitors only know of Wizarding World

Most leave the park without even noticing the other areas or attractions. ORLANDO, FL -- A shocking new poll shows that a whopping 62 percent of all visitors to Universal Orlando are only aware of the Harry Potter-related parts of the resort. Although the Universal Studios Orlando resort first opened its doors in 1990, and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter didn't come along until twenty years later, it seems almost two-thirds of its guests don't know about the remainder of the parks. Guest complaint: “Rain at Walt Disney World is inconsistent”

StupidGuestTricks.com brings you this remarkable tale of guest absurdity. WALT DISNEY WORLD, FL -- While at the Magic Kingdom during a rainstorm the other day, an Uncle Walt's Insider staff member stopped by Guest Relations to compliment a hard-working (and likely underpaid) Cast Member. While we were there, we overheard a rather newsworthy complaint: the guest at the next window was complaining that the rain was more inconsistent than it should be! The Rain, the Whole Rain, and Nothing but the Rain The unknown ... Read more
