Five-star WDW restaurant Victoria & Albert’s gets corporate sponsor: Taco Bell

The new partnership between Disney and Taco Bell will bring some menu changes. WALT DISNEY WORLD, FL -- The Disney Company has partnered with other companies in its parks since the earliest days of Disneyland. Some of those pairings were obvious fits for a family park, such as the lingerie store on Main Street operated by the Hollywood-Maxwell Brassiere Co. of Los Angeles. Others, such as the Philip Morris sponsorship of park smoking areas, were less well received. A new partnership has just ... Read more

Teen pilot crashes Millenium Falcon; Smuggler’s Run ride closed

The Falcon is grounded for 3-4 weeks for extensive repairs. DISNEYLAND, CA -- It took less than ten days. In fact, in the entire 64-year history of Disneyland Park, records show that not a single person reported an injury from a Light Saber. Blaster misfires, yes; accidental Force-chokes, sure. Those could hardly be avoided. Over the past seven days, there have been 107 reported Light Saber injuries at ... Read more

Tomorrowland Speedway cars became sentient, began speaking

The shutdown earlier this year may not have been because of Tron. WALT DISNEY WORLD, FL -- When the Tomorrowland Speedway was closed at the beginning of this year, Disney gave construction of the new Tron roller coaster as the reason. And just like that coaster's delays were not construction issues but a ransomware attack, apparently Disney wasn't entirely honest about the Speedway closure. It closed because the cars became sentient. A future foretold If you've seen 2006's animated film Cars or any of its sequels ... Read more
