DISNEYLAND, CA — Disneyland Resort and Spa in Anaheim, CA, used to have a perfect record when it came to accidents involving Light Sabers.

In fact, in the entire 64-year history of Disneyland Park, records show that not a single person reported an injury from a Light Saber. Blaster misfires, yes; accidental Force-chokes, sure. Those could hardly be avoided.

Over the past seven days, there have been 107 reported Light Saber injuries at Disneyland.

Experts baffled

“Quite frankly, we’re not sure of the cause,” says Disney (the company) spokesperson Jun Disney (no relation). “To see such a spike in one particular kind of accident in the park is unprecedented.

“We’re going to have to do some studies to see if we can figure out what changed to cause this.”

The reported injuries include burns, cuts, and a few dismemberments.

“Fortunately, no deaths,” Disney (no relation) continues. “Yet.”
