“Dear (Step) Moms: I have a reservation for my family at Cinderella’s Royal Table for next week. I know the parks are shut down, but you wouldn’t believe how much effort it took to get that reservation. Should I cancel it?” – Rita H, Fort Wayne IN

Harriet:

Just don’t go to Walt Disney World. There are too many people not there without you.

Baby Yoda:

X:

I miss the good old days, when it was known as King Stefan’s Royal Banquet Hall.

Walt:

Hi Ronaldo, thanks for asking.

How exciting for you that you’re going to be visiting Walt Disney World during the shutdown! I would expect record low crowds, except at Cinderella’s Royal Table. You’re lucky you got the reservation!

Keep it! Have a magical vacation.

Marty:

Hi Ruta,

Walt is essentially correct, with one addition:

TAKE ME WITH YOU! PLEASE! I’m smothering here in isolation! I beg of you, let me come with you!!!!

Ub:

Hello, Ria!

Dining in the Disney parks is so much fun, and when you’re the only person in the parks the service is so much better. Depending on the day, I understand they’ve been taking the penguins and polar bears from Animal Kingdom to other parks to see if they find each other, and if they do what actually happens, since penguins and polar bears are from opposite ends of the globe.

When dining at Disney parks, and especially at Victoria and Albert’s, which will be relocated to Batuu by the time you’re allowed back in the parks, it’s important to know in what order to use your silverware. It wouldn’t seem like that big a deal, but if you use the wrong fork with the geoduck, everyone will be laughing at you, and now in languages from all over the galaxy, including at least a few that you don’t understand.

The only downside of this change is that there will be several Wookiees providing character dining, which in the past has led to complaints as Wookiees tend to shed like Siberian Huskies.

The trade-off, though, is that diners at Victoria and Albert’s will get priority access onto Return of the Empire when it opens in 2021. Oh, by the way: spoiler alert. I was supposed to say that first, wasn’t I? Too late now.

So there’s a lot to look forward to with Disney Dining and Character Dining at the Walt Disney World Resort, Spa and SpaceX BFR Starship Landing Zone.

Hope that helps!

Ub, you do realize that Walt doesn’t pay us by the word, right?
