We can’t wait to visit Walt, er, Bob Chapek World!
BURBANK, CA — A recent SEC filing reveals that Disney intends to replace the Disney name with “Chapek” worldwide, after its current CEO Bob “Bob” Chapek. The name change will include the parks, studios, subsidiaries, individual departments, as well as the corporation name itself.
Uncle Walt’s Insider reached out to Disney (the company) spokesperson Jun Disney (no relation) for more information.
More “discussed” than “Disney.” Or is that “disgust”?
“Yes, boys, it is true,” Disney (no relation) confirmed. “In our research, we found that Chapek’s name comes up amongst the fans of our company even more than the name Disney! So we plan on capitalizing on this now while Bob is still CEO.
“Signs, new company letterhead, and name tags are already in production, and the name change will be complete by Christmas Day, and we are planning a huge celebration to unveil to all of his adoring fans. Tickets to the event at all Chapek parks worldwide will go on sale on Nov 1st, priced at $1,500.00 USD. We expect this to sell out before they go on sale. It will be that popular.
“Oh, and yes, I will be changing my name.” We thought we detected a small sob as Chapek (no relation) ended the call.
