“Dear (Step) Moms: Should I be wearing a mask in public?” – Drew C., Los Angeles CA

Walt:

Hi Doug, thanks for asking.

Please re-submit your question along with a recent photo. We’ll make our determination after we have a chance to see what you look like. Thanks!

Marty:

Good question, coming from someone whose name is a past tense verb.

If you are 14 or older, no. Disney has not relaxed their policy, so costumes are not permitted for older teens and adults.

If you’re under 14, however, the answer is still no. While you can wear a costume, masks aren’t allowed unless they’re for medical purposes.

So leave the masks at home, and enjoy your vacation!

Harriet:

Just don’t go to Walt Disney World. There are too many people not there without you.

Ub:

Hi Drew,

Back in the day before you found your stride, you really should have worn a mask. With your sense of humor, where the funniest thing you did was to step on your own joke? You should have worn a mask, and constantly so no one would know who you were. Thankfully you had the tall guy and the Canadian to save you.

But the worst was that time you went to Hollywood Studios and walked around a room making a bunch of noises. Seriously, was there any point? No one liked it.

But now that the previous guy got out of your way and you became the star that you always should have been, I don’t think you need to wear a mask. Be proud of your accomplishment! You’re the perfect person to host The Price is Right. You don’t even need Ryan and Colin anymore! Let them keep all the points.

Hi Drew. If you’re a Detroit Lions fan, the recommended mask is a paper bag over the head.

If you’re a hockey goaltender, I recommend either Warwick Custom Masks or Promasque. Both of them make really excellent products.

Don’t buy anything from Itech, their goalie stuff is pretty much garbage.
