One person in America still has original ideas.
GLENDALE, CA — Elon Musk has joined Disney’s Imagineering as a creative consultant. [Ed.: Didn’t we just say that in the headline?]
Uncle Walt’s Insider found that the move came after Disney was looking for some sort of ideas for new attractions to put into the parks, but admitted they were out of original ideas and could only turn to Hollywood. And then they discovered that Hollywood is also out of original ideas.
Disney (the company) spokesperson Jun Disney (no relation) spoke with Uncle Walt’s Insider.
A big entrance
“It was majestic, the most amazing thing I have seen,” Disney (no relation) shared. “Elon Musk rode into the courtyard on top of a Stage 1 Falcon 9 booster, landing perfectly on the target the Imagineers had painted on the ground. He immediately walked inside, and as he strolled past, I could already hear him rattling off some of the ideas he had for the parks!”
Jun was tight-lipped about what ideas Mr. Musk shared, but our reporter did overhear one Imagineer stating, “Wow, not one mention of an existing Disney character, movie, TV show, or any current intellectual property! How does he do it?!?”
There has been no mention of whether he or Chip Gaines will be in charge.
Hey Elon! What would you build at the Disney Parks? Let us know in the comments below!
