New Magic Kingdom stage show: “Gay Gay Gay Gay Gay Gay Gay”

Chapek: "I wrote the script myself." REEDY CREEK, FL -- There's a new stage show coming soon to the Walt Disney World Resort & Spa & Alternative Lifestyle Exploration Center! In a new bid to drive the Disney Company into the ground and keep California's lights on, the Forecourt Stage at Cornelius (formerly Cinderella) Castle (she's a dude now) will host a cavalcade of Disney characters dressed in rainbow colors, all chanting and singing nothing but the word "gay" for 25 minutes! "Don't ... Read more

Other Disney songs advertising non-Disney products

We fear the Coca-Cola ad is only the beginning. What's that? A cheery instrumental version of Chim Chim Chiree is coming from your TV? It must be a new commercial for Walt Disney World! Except it's not -- it's an ad for Coca-Cola. And then you hear Bear Necessities... in an ad for Door Dash? What's going on? Your ears do not deceive you -- you actually have heard Disney songs popping up in non-Disney places. Which means one thing: Disney CEO Bob ... Read more

Festival of the Lion King returns. But not really.

We prefer it being part of the Safari queue. DISNEY'S ANIMAL KINGDOM, WDW, FL, USA, EARTH, MILKY WAY -- Park officials at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, Resort, Spa & Butcher Shop claim that The Festival of the Lion King has returned. This news is, in fact, wrong. What has "returned" is a smaller show, with just 35% of the fun. The new show, called A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King, still features all of your favorite songs, but with a ... Read more

DisneyNature will make a live-action version of the Cats musical

No, not CGI, or humans in costumes. Actual cats. BR'ER BANK, CA -- DisneyNature, the division of Walt Disney Studios that makes those animal movies, has announced its next project: a live action remake of the Broadway musical Cats! Paul Baribault, president of DisneyNature, is excited about the project. He spoke to Uncle Walt's Insider by phone. Straight from the (lion?) king "This will be something we've never done before," Baribault says. What, make a movie someone will actually go see, we ask? "Well, that, yes," ... Read more
