Great, exclusive products — if you can find the store!

WALT DISNEY WORLD, FL — At the Magic Kingdom, we are full on into Halloween! Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party & Spa has been running for a couple of weeks, and it is as popular as ever. This once-a-year celebration of all things spooky brings in the crowds — and with this celebration comes specially-themed foods and merchandise.

The Headless Horseman rides again

By far, the most popular character to visit the Magic Kingdom during Halloween isn’t Mickey, Minnie, or Donald in Halloween costumes, it’s the Headless Horseman. This fellow rides in on his trusty steed [Ed.: I hope they know steed means horse. And does the horse have a head?], galloping down Main Street to the delight of his many fans.

He’s so popular, in fact, that according to our own super-reliable research department, the Headless Horseman receives no less than 33 marriage proposals each night he appears. And that’s just from the women WITH heads!

Exclusive Headless Horseman merchandise

It is no secret that Disney never misses a chance to make money, exploiting the popularity of the characters even back when Walt ran the show. These days, not only do they license everything from food products to automotive fluids, they even license their own movie titles to other movies!

So this Halloween season, the Magic Kingdom has dedicated an entire store to selling replica heads of the Headless Horseman. Chuck Newhouse, owner of Chuck’s Collectibles, says, “These items are in such high demand that any guest that picks one up from Disney can be guaranteed to make at least triple the purchase price. Right now the market is showing even higher prices, and that number will only climb as we approach Halloween and the busy Christmas shopping season!”

In-store exclusive

This shop, painted in an exclusive Disney-created green color, is located in a prime spot on Main Street, so you can’t miss it. Anyone who wishes to acquire one of these replicas must do it in the store only. No phone or online orders are available, and the shop is only open during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. But don’t worry — they restock the store daily, so there should be plenty of items available!

And don’t forget that special Headless Churros are also available for purchase during special event hours!
