Disney Cruise Line brings a little corporate synergy to Anaheim.
DISNEYLAND, CA– Donald’s Boat, a watery attraction at Disneyland’s Toontown, will soon offer extra-cost shore excursions for its guests!
The Boat, which recently reentered service after sinking last year, has been struggling to attract passengers after the mishap. Disneyland is hopeful that adding extra options for its guests during their cruise will entice them to return.
Lots of, um, limited options!
In a joint venture with Disney Cruise Line announced yesterday, guests will soon have multiple added-cost tours and experiences to choose from during their Donald’s Boat cruise. Of course, since the Boat is permanently moored at Toontown, all of the excursions are Toontown-based. So far, the excursions are:
- Walk the Path the Jolly Trolley Used to Take
- “Hey, Look at That!” – Parts of Galaxy’s Edge You Can See from Toontown
- Sounds of Toontown: a Blindfold Adventure
- Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin: the Fastpass Queue Experience (requires guest to obtain Fastpass)

Disney officials remind guests that most shore excursions are offered by third parties and no guarantees are made as to their quality. Also, anyone debarking from Donald’s Boat is responsible for returning before the time of departure.
