Mariachi ‘invasion’ of America Gardens Theatre prompts new border wall

The President vowed to get right on this. EPCOT, FL -- Walt Disney World guests, already reeling from so many changes, found a new disturbance at EPCOT's World Showcase. The America Pavilion's normal patriotic music, backed by the incredibly talented Voices of Liberty, has been replaced by the sounds of mariachi. Tensions were already running high in World Showcase, what with the UK Pavilion pulling out, the invasion of the French Pavilion, and the protests after Applebee's took the riblets off the menu ... Disney Magic to be sunk, turned into artificial reef

Why don't they ever sink ships to create natural reefs? PORT CANAVERAL, FL -- The Disney Magic is the latest victim of the Covid-19 shutdown. Disney Cruise Line announced today that the Magic, the first cruise ship in the Disney fleet, will be sunk and turned into an artificial reef. Epcot Moana disaster: “Maybe we shouldn’t have closed all the restrooms”

"We're installing more bushes." WALT DISNEY WORLD, FL -- Walt Disney once faced a choice, just before the opening of Disneyland, of whether to have plumbers finish connecting the drinking fountains or the restrooms. In his most famous quote (the one carved on his headstone), Walt Disney said, "They can drink Coke and Pepsi, but they can’t pee in the streets." After closing all the Epcot restrooms to retheme them as Moana's Journey of Water, panicked Imagineers have realized that guests can do both. In ... Read more

Panic at Epcot as giant putter descends

It was a spectacle unrivaled in theme park history. Wonder what happened next? WALT DISNEY WORLD, FL -- For one Florida man, an ordinary day spent drinking at Epcot ended in an extraordinary way -- racing for his life out of the park. Jesse Sanfford, 23, of Haines City, visited the park with several buddies for a day of "drinking around the world." They started in the Mexico pavilion for tequila, then began working their way around Epcot's World Showcase, sampling an alcoholic ... Read more
