The “true guardians of the Magic Kingdom” await revolution in Florida.

HAVANA, CUBA — Just when we thought Disney news couldn’t get any stranger… it has been revealed that the former Reedy Creek Improvement District board, which governed the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida for over four decades, has established a “government in exile” in Cuba.

Sources close to the matter report that the board members fled to Cuba after losing control of the district in their spat with the State of Florida. Apparently, the board members were so attached to their power and influence within the Disney community that they refused to accept the change and decided to take matters into their own hands.

According to a statement released by the board, they have established a provisional government in Havana and are currently holding meetings to discuss the future of the Walt Disney World Resort. The statement also claimed that the Cuban government has been very supportive of their cause and has even offered to host a joint Disney-Cuba theme park in the near future.

Needless to say, this news has caused quite a stir within the Disney community. Many are questioning the legality and ethics of the former board members’ actions, while others are simply confused as to why they would choose Cuba as their new home base.

As Goofy says, “¡Viva la revolución (hyuk)!

Despite the controversy, the board members seem determined to continue their fight for control of the former Reedy Creek Improvement District. They have even started referring to themselves as “the true guardians of the Magic Kingdom” and have called on Disney fans around the world to support their cause.

Only time will tell how this bizarre situation will play out, but one thing is for sure: the world of Disney just got a whole lot weirder.
