The new “Boba Fett Bobbidi Boutiques” will feature everything from costumes to appearance-altering surgery.

WALT DISNEY WORLD, FL & ANAHEIM, CA — We’re just months [Ed.: days? hours? years? We haven’t really been paying attention] away from the opening of the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge lands at Disneyland in California and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida. And now details have emerged about a new extra-cost offering that will transform guests into a true resident of the Star Wars universe.

Thousands of options — some permanent

“We’ve had such success with the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques,” said Disney (the company) spokesperson Jun Disney (no relation), “that we didn’t want to change the business model too much. And Star Wars gives us so many more opportunities for creative — and expensive — makeovers. After all, there are only so many ways to make someone look like a princess, but there are literally thousands of alien variations we can choose from.”

Disney (no relation) says that makeovers will range from a temporary transformation using wigs, costumes, and makeup (expensive) to more permanent makeovers (really, really expensive).

“I know California is littered with plastic surgery offices on every street corner, but this will be the first on-site inside a Disney Park. Want a pig snout or walrus face like the dudes in the Cantina? We can do that. Would you like to have your skin permanently tattooed green? Also doable.”

Little ones disappointed

For now, though, only guests over the age of 18 can get the permanent transformations.

“Well, that’s really only for sure in California,” Disney (no relation) clarifies. “In Florida, we’ve got the Reedy Creek Improvement District writing our laws, so it’s possible there. Finally you can have that blue kid you always wanted!”
