Cinderella Castle briefly deflates

As Walt Disney World Resort continues to assess damage caused by the passage of Hurricane Irma earlier this week, resort officials at last confirmed that a flying palm tree had punctured Cinderella Castle, causing the structure to partially deflate. All Walt Disney World Resort theme parks and water parks were closed for two days, on Sunday and Monday, as Hurricane Irma pelted the state of Florida. Disney resort guests were urged to shelter in place in their resort hotels.
