Re: "Out of service?" That won't stop me!
Once when I was working in Nazi Fairy Farm aka Knott's Berry Farm, I was doing Huff'N'Puff, which is right below Montezooma's Revenge. MR was down for refurb, and though there was a chain and a couple of trash cans across the entrance to the queue, some kids thought, oh, great, we're first in line!...

Patch, I agree that it is not a bad thing to have a plan. Some people's personality is that they would not be able to relax without one. But some of the people at Board X, Y and Z go way overboard. They have things timed out to the minute and god forbid one of their touring mate wants to use the bat...

Re: What Attractions Do We Miss?
I miss the skyway. I know they were slow loading but I really liked the bird's eye view of the park and it was a nice place to relax....well as long as you didn't ride it with an idiot who forgot to tell you they were afraid of heights!

Not to sound like a SG, but is it common for the gift stores to gift wrap purchases? It wouldn't even dawn on me to be disappointed because a CM in a sale position didn't do a good job gift wrapping an item.

This is so sad. I feel for both the bus driver and the man's family.

Turkey is what my mother serves. I am thankful that my family lives close enough to each other that we can all go to her house for the holidays.

Well I only speak English but managed to do a semester abroad (many years ago)...phrase books were my friend when traveling. But I never expected the people in Europe to speak English (although in many places that dealt with tourism, someone did). But I did run into one of those "stupid" A...

Re: Stupid Pizza Flyer Tricks
When I stayed at SSR in October we got a couple of pizza flyers under the door (both on different days), but I didn't think to report them to the resort. There was no way that we could have narrowed down the time since both days that they were left were days that we had spent the entire day out of t...

Re: DLR employee sent home for wearing muslim head covering
I am kind of on the fence about this one. On the one hand, I can understand an employer wanting to avoid having folks mistake an employees beliefs for the company supporting said beliefs, thus enacting a dress code restricting religious symbols and such. On the other hand, in this case, the employe...

Re: George Steinbrenner will not be down for breakfast...
Even this die-hard Red Sox fan bowed her head and wished him peace. It was sad news no matter which team you root for. He certainly created a harsh rivalry between the NYY and BoSox but he also supported one of Boston's charities, The Jimmy Fund, even donating the buried Ortiz so they could auction ...
