Re: stupid guest tricks on disneyland rr?

New story: We have a managers' office in Adventureland where the Leads have to go to turn in paperwork, etc. They'll usually ride the train from Main Street to New Orleans, then walk from there, seeing as to how it is a much shorter walk. I was on Holiday 5 (which was pulling the Lilly Belle). I had...

Re: stupid guest tricks on disneyland rr?

One of MANY SG stories on the DRR... I was loading guests at Main Street Station. I finished loading, and it was time to get ready to depart. There were about 15 people left in the queue for the next train. As I was closing the Load Gate, this woman starts walking up from the very end of the line......

Re: Stupid Streetcar Tricks

That's nothing... You should see the SGs when the Xmas Tree is up! Taking that picture is more important than their lives. They stand on the track to take a picture of their kids, and will not move, even when the horse is bearing down on them. Then there are also the people who leave their strollers...

Re: Questions for Toontown and Matterhorn CMs

people thought that they could hop on board like the Main Street streetcars. You're not supposed to "hop on board" the Streetcars either. They have an area where you wait to board on both ends of Main Street. I don't think DOSH is too keen on people getting on or off a moving vehicle. As ...

Re: Flag Retreat SGs!

There's no excuse for anyone else. If I need to go clock in, I think my country will understand if I'm walking to the computer. Because unfortunately, Disney does not understand if I'm late because I stopped for my country. However, any other time, I stand at attention and honor the Flag. As for th...

Re: Tell me it ain't so, DLR has no greeters on rides

Sometimes, on slower days, we have only one person out front at Indy to Greet and Validate (check the Fastpasses for correct times, etc). When this is the case, we generally will not have anyone in the Boathouse (Fastpass distribution area). The computer that allows us to change the posted wait time...

Ending 2008 With the Best Question Ever

I was working on the Disneyland Railroad for New Year's Eve. If you were there, or live in the area, you know how foggy it was that night. For those of you who didn't get to see it, the fog was thick ! You could not see the castle from the Main Street Station. Anyway, our Lead decided to stop the tr...

Re: I realise the restaurant's in chaos. I STILL WANT MY FOOD!

Seriously, the place could be on fire and they'd still be wanting their food. Or their money back XD When we had that earthquake a couple of months ago at Disneyland, we immediately evacuated Indiana Jones. SGs in line, who clearly felt the shaking, were demanding a Fastpass or Re-ad for the time t...

Re: Line Jumpers...dang, y'all are good!

Guests try to run through my exit onto the Train all the time. I stop loading, run over to the car they jump into, and with a nice big smile and sarcastic SOB tone say, "Hi guys, that was the exit. You need to go back around through the line." To which the usual response, "Really?&quo...
