Stupid Guest Tricks

My family is coming in the first week of april and they want to go to Universal City in California. I was wondering how busy will it be during that week. Should I pay the extra for front of line passes or will the lines not be too long. Thanks in advance.

I'm out on medical leave right now but before I went out I put in vacation for December, which I just found out got denied, again. I haven't had a vacation approved in over 2 years.
