Re: New Presenteeism Policies...
They sent a letter out stating that they had nothing to do with the new attendance policies at all and Disney is telling everyone that the union supported the new policies when they didn't. Hmmm... should be interesting to see how this all plays out. I can't believe that the union is going to just ...

I'm very curious why this is. Call me ignorant, but I have no idea what you are talking about.

Re: New Presenteeism Policies...
Ok, the latest phase of Presenteeism is really steaming me. My manager came by today to appraise us of the latest changes to attendance policy. Apparently now, we can't take our four Called Dependant days per year without accruing points any more. Also, Called Transportation and Called Personal can...

Oh, and SpamPutney, I would suggest that if you're going to hang around this site, you might want to contribute in ways other than threadcrapping. I just looked at your post his...

Re: Please pass the salt?!?
Oh please. And people wonder why Americans are so fat! :D: I literally have seen humongous people in Disneyland on their little motorized carts because they are just too large. I'm not one to pass judgement but I wish they could just attempt to get up and try to walk because rolling around on a lit...

That's because you don't work here. Things like this don't surprise me at all (any more). :( And you've been working in the field of logistics/retail/supply/distribution for how long now? Approaching 8 years, thank you. Someone else mentioned slow truckers; if you consistently have problems with de...

Re: Please pass the salt?!?
Ok, yesterday, I had a guest order a couple of pizza baskets. (For those who aren't familiar with Toontown foods, Daisy's Diner offers a pizza basket deal with side salads in addition to the pizzas.) One lady, when she gets her salads, asks us about salt. I tell her that it'll be at the condiments ...

Re: Get The Hell Out Now!
Today we had a fire alarm test in the GCH. Someone came on the PA and announced something to the effect of, "We will be conducting a test of the fire alarm system shortly. Please disregard the alarm. There is no need to leave the hotel." Then, when the alarm went off, people amazingly ask...
