Re: Snappy answers to Stupid Guests

Posted before (in the "Here's Your Disney Sign" thread, but)... SG: (in the BTMR queue) Is this Frontierland? CM: Nope. This is Tomorrowland and I'm the Space Cowboy. Some people call me Maurice. Now excuse me while I speak of the pompitous of love. SG: Is this a good/bad ride? CM: We don'...

Re: update on tigger

This isn't just about the rope-a-dope incident at the Magic Kingdom. It's about a parent who's teaching a child the worst lesson of all: If anything bad happens, even if you precipitated it, lie, say it was unprovoked, and it isn't your fault and the other party should pay. I agree, but... the inci...

Re: Fast Pass Question

So what do the CM's say? Can you or can't you use a late FP? I heard(can't say where from) that the official ruling is that you can, in the same day of course and as long as the attraction is running smoothly. This from a source you talked to attraction managers, or something. Same day, absolutely....

Some of us don't. I just missed almost 2 weeks of work thanks to the flu.

Important safety tip: apparently, a 104 degree fever is pretty serious in adults.

Re: What you said / What they heard

WHAT THE GUEST SAID: "I just had surgery. I can't wait outside for my family or I'll dehydrate and pass out." WHAT I REPLIED: "Ma'am, you are aware that the Magic Kingdom is an outdoor park, right? Odds are that you'll be spending rather more than four minutes at a time outside. If y...

Re: Where are the fireworks

I just honestly don't think it's a bad, stupid or annoying enough question to have a problem with it. I always liked Walt's idea that every guest should be given a chance, and that rude guests may just be having a bad day. I refocus that on a guest asking a stupid question may have just poorly word...

Re: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Mousewitcz

I don't know about DL but for WDW, I could see something done in the studios OR in the former 20K area. If there were rumors of a villains land there or something similar, why not a HP dark ride? The rumor I heard involved a "Diagon Alley" area in the 20K area, with a HP-inspired dark rid...

Re: photo edit funnies

perhaps WDW's tower has different guidelines from DCA's tower? The manager we were talking to even said "you can't have 2 guys kissing" Just spoke to a CM who works PhotoEdit at WDW's Splash, and she told me that photos showing kissing - regardless of gender - are permitted. According to ...
