Not sure corks would have the desired effect. Perhaps activated charcoal filter inserts would do the trick.

They could require all passengers to complete the pre-colonoscopy treatment before flying...

With as personal as the TSA pat downs have become, this could be taken care of at the security screening. That way, no issues while waiting for your flight either. It's a win/win!

When I was living in PA with mom and my grandparents, I saw a newspaper article of wacky inventions, and one had this picture of a fat guy scarfing down baked beans, sitting on a big, charcoal-filled cushion that was billed as a fart-absorber. Or words to that effect.
