Re: Monorail_Red's WDWCP Adventure

I can believe that. Here in Boston, temperatures are absolutely normal for this time of year. I hear the rest of the country complaining about the record cold, and I'm outside thinking, "This is the same as just about every other winter. Highs in the low 30s, lows in the high teens." It's...

Re: How Cold Is WDW?

I just saw the weather report for Orlando. It predicted temps in the low 30's for the week. Break out the thermal underwear. My husband and I were at Disney last January (for the marathon and after) and it was nearly that cold allll week. It was kind of a bummer, but given it was 0 at home with win...

Clueless, 8 Mile, and she was the voice of King of the Hill's Luanne.

Re: Here's wishing you a furry Christmas

I'm positive that the main outcome of the internet is to prove that people really do have too much time on their hands.

I love TSO (seen 'em all of twice, but remain huge fans of their 'Tage days) and this guy does a great job in a TIGER SUIT.

Re: Stupid TSA Tricks

Thanks a lot! Don't want to think about the indignities travelers will have to submit to now...... No kidding!!! I'm going to still be on crutches, unable to walk unassisted, and have to go through security in a few weeks. I can only imagine what kind of treatment I'll end up subjected...

Re: Bad Movies

Man, I felt like I was watching a take-off of Thriller for the first and a bad remake of the original Battestar Galactica for the second (stickers on the forehead? really?). They were both awful.

Re: Cast Member Appreciation

I agree with Wuzzup! It's the staff that makes the parks so great. When my friend and I went in September, our curse of bad service was finally consistently broken (no matter where we were or what we did, anywhere in the country...). Heck, when we were wearing our "I'm Celebrating!" button...

Re: Policing of GAC Cards

From a traffic engineering standpoint the optimum speed limit is the speed which 85% of the vehicles travel at. Some of the roads I use to commute to work ended up having their speed limits RAISED as a result of that theory. It's much nicer now! (and logical, as it was a busy four lane road with fe...
