Re: Seasonal Passholder Doesn't Read Rules, Doesn't Get Gift Card, Cries

"Question…my family and I have AP’s. I am taking my daughter on her birthday, which falls during spring break (a blackout date for our pass). I get that I will have to pay the $40 for my pass to work that day, but can I pay the $40 for her to get in and then redeem her birthday pass for the bi...

Re: Overheard in the ticket line

I have to delurk to say that LittleDollClaudia has captured the strange sense of entitlement that guests I've helped at the DLR have been displaying in connection to three things: the advent of the annual pass payment plan, the long lines since the holiday season and the birthday tickets. Transactio...

Re: SGs, Why Did This Worry Them?

I always have issues at the Haunted Mansion. There isn't a line queue until you get to the turnstiles. So all the sheeple are in a line on the right and I slid next to the wall on the left and people think that I'm cutting in the line. I am filling all available space, as directed by CM's everywher...

Re: 4th of July Fireworks SGTs

High winds at DL? At Knott's-which is not that far from DL-our fireworks show went on as scheduled. I worked last night and it didn't seem windy. Of course, Knott's would have shot fireworks off regardless of the weather. :) It was a decent display-though nothing like DL. I think Knott's fireworks ...

Re: George Carlin will not be down for breakfast

Delurking to say how much I loved his work and that I will miss his POV very much. My favorite joke of his was the one where he talked about all of the questions he got after he pierced his ears. People asked him what it meant and he insisted that it didn't mean anything. He just wanted to have pier...

Re: It's Grad Nite Time Again...

Now that the 2008 DLR Grad Nite season is winding down to a close, I just wanted to share some of my favourite SGTs from the Class of 2008. The 2 seniors at the front of the run to Space Mountain at the beginning of Grad Nite, who made a wrong turn and ran towards Star Trader instead of the Attract...

Re: the stupidity has begun already

I thought you had 24 hours to produce your drivers license if asked for it when driving... in case you forgot your wallet or whatever... You're supposed to have a license on you that shows that you are licensed to drive the vehicle you're operating. It may be true that you have it at home or in you...

Re: Fantasmic! SG Report

And it really amazes me when folks do what you JUST told them not to. I've heard that this happens because people disregard the "don't" in the "Don't do this!" command. They only hear "Do this!" so they follow orders. It was explained a being a type of brain fart. Peop...

Re: Newest SET member:

When I worked in hotels, I would quickly walk through a crowded lobby to the break room with a pleasant look on my face and with my sight line aimed somewhere just above people's heads. Avoid eye contact at all costs! If anyone did try to stop me to ask questions, I would look at them, smile and kee...
