At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Now they're going to have to rewrite the whole thing. And boy, heads are gonna roll when they find out who leaked it. What is it with people these days? First a couple of posers invade the White House, and now some jerk just made it harder for people to fly, because now they really have to do a better job of checking who's on the list and who isn't, and who's carrying what.

Knowing the way the government works, they will punish those that were somewhat connected to that, and then say that the supervisor(s) that had oversight were kept out of the loop.

No kidding!!! I'm going to still be on crutches, unable to walk unassisted, and have to go through security in a few weeks. I can only imagine what kind of treatment I'll end up subjected to!DisneyMom wrote:Thanks a lot!

Re: Stupid TSA Tricks
Not like the TSA actually made flying any safer to begin with. Just a waste of time and taxpayer dollars.
(For example, using a blacklight to view an ID that doesn't have any blacklight features on it ... waste of time)

I got searched for PIB (Parmesan In Bag).

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Well you know how dangerous cheese can be. If they served Spaghetti on the plane and hobie didn't bring enough for 'everybody', a riot could ensue.hobie16 wrote:I got searched for PIB (Parmesan In Bag).

Local media did 'kinda' the same here a year or two ago. "Looky here. The train tracks go right through the middle of town and the prevailing winds go this way. If you plant a dirty/chemical bomb on the train you could take out half the hospitals, the air base and the university in swift attack." I was thinking, 'Gee whiz, why you just buy them the GD ticket while you're at it'.

Re: Stupid TSA Tricks
Not like it matters, the TSA is a crock anyway how many times SINCE 9/11 have people carried guns, and others stuff through several airports just to prove that the "security" is poor.
