Carousel Question
I've had a request from a client on my other job for information about King Arthur's Carousel at Disneyland.
Story is told that the carousel has the shields of the Knights of the Round Table on it (somewhere). Hard to say, as legends vary in number from 12 to 100 knights.
I would really appreciate it if someone could send me photos of all of the different shields on the carousel. They don't need to be high quality, just so I can see the colors and figure out what the designs are.
Naturally, this request came in the week *after* I visited Disneyland, so it may be a couple of years before I can get back there myself.
Anyway, PM me if you're can help. Much TIA!

Re: Carousel Question
We're actually working on a new catalog of anything and everything King Arthur's Carrousel for City Hall; I'll see what I can dig up. May be a few days, though.

A few days will be fine.GuestJockey wrote:We're actually working on a new catalog of anything and everything King Arthur's Carrousel for City Hall; I'll see what I can dig up. May be a few days, though.
If it will help your project, I'll happily send you an article on the arms of the Knights of the Round Table we recently published. PM your mailing address for a copy.

Re: Carousel Question
Please let us know when the catalog update is complete. I have a list of all the horses' names but any additional information would be great.GuestJockey wrote:We're actually working on a new catalog of anything and everything King Arthur's Carrousel for City Hall; I'll see what I can dig up. Re: Carousel Question
I used to have a list of all the horses names but in my travels I have lost it...does City Hall have that info readily available?

Re: Carousel Question
It's looking like our new Carousel reference tool for City Hall will take longer than expected to complete - I'll keep everyone updated as soon as there's news!

Re: Carousel Question
Aren't the names of all K A Carousel horses correct on sites given via google?

Re: Carousel Question
I have an old Disney News magazine that listed all the names (but no corresponding pictures) of the carousel horses. I if I can extract it from it's hiding place,I will make a list of the names.
Re: Carousel Question
found this on another site for a list of the horses' names.
Alma, Arabian Knight, Avanti, Baby, Belle, Bruce, Centurion, Checkers, Checkers Jr, Champion, Chodis, Cinch, Cooper, Crown Jewel, Crusader, Dagger, Daisy, Dante, Duke, Eagle Scout, Elinor, Elroy, Emerald, Fern, Flourish, Frenchy, Galaxy, Gypsy, Hal, Ivy, Jester, Jingles, Kaleidoscope, King Richard, Lance, Leo, Leprechaun, Lucifer's Rose, Lunatic, National Velvet, Patches, Pegasus, Penny, Queenie, Rally, Red Devil, Renaissance, Sapphire, Saxon, Screaming Eagle, Sea Biscuit, Sir Lancelot, St Patrick, Steamer, Tartan, Tassel, Testy Pat, Thistle, Tiny, Topaz, Tulip, Turbo, Unice, & Valance.
im wondering if the horses themselves are wearing their knights colors / shields?
