At Knott's I remember guests who couldn't figure out why we can't stop a ride on a dime. More than once I had to explain that it is a simple law of physics that the heavier and faster an object is, the more time, distance and force is needed to bring it to a complete stop. And no, I never took physics. All I know is what I pick up along the way.

Apparently, ropes mean NOTHING to SGs!! yesterday, I was waiting for the fireworks on a bench and SGs keep coming through the VIP area, eventhough it was roped off and there was a row of benches and trash cans were blocking their way. THEY STILL KEPT COMING!!!! I mean, what does a barricade of benches mean to a SGs??

It means "Crash through me! Crash through me!"

"If you are a dee, please don't marry a dee, 'cause then your kids will be dee dee dee." ....Carlos Mencia

"It's the difference between champagne and carbonated pee!" ....Homer Simpson

Why would there even be a barricade unless there was something fascinating and wonderful behind it???

If the Main Street horses are off-duty that day,we could sneak over to the ranch and have the MiBs 'loan' us some. ;)

I agree. Some people are just idiots. This Me Me Me society we live in now is sickening. This is my first post but what a great one to join right in on! :p: I have been lurking for quite awhile now and am still amazed at some of the things I read on here. Some things I have witnessed in the parks myself. I am up to two times a year now. Family only goes once as I leave hubby and daughter behind in Oct and meet up with my buddy from Pennsylvania (we met on the disboards) and our buddies from the BWI. The line cutting or "meeting up with the rest of the party" always gets me but we did witness one day a guest go postal and scream at this poor CM at the Idol Experience. Why? For doing his job. They decided to forego the line and start climbing over the chains. He stood his ground and nicely asked for them to go to the back of the line. She started yelling "You don't have to scream in my face. You are a jerk." She was twice as big as him. What would have happened if they would have fallen? They would have sued I am sure. We just looked at them along with the rest of the crowd and then told them to chill and move to the back of the line. It was unreal. I know you guys put up with it every day but when I see a CM being abused I will speak up. When we have a great experience like we did with Mike from Guest Relations, I emailed corporate and actually got a call from them. They thanked me for a good response because they usually get so many bad ones. You guys are the best and keep up the good work. Unlike on the Disboards, in May we did not run into one grouchy CM, thought the parks were kept up great, and the food was wonderful. 2,653 more days and we are moving so we can retire working for Disney as soon as daughter graduates from high school. Right now she wants to be a vet at the Animal Kingdom as well :D:

darph, are u blithering to me? I don't have to sneak to the ranch. Our delivery trucks wouldn't help you at all!! Not after what you pulled last week. :p: Before you screwed up...... you had ALL the free beer you wanted. Sucks to be you doesn't it? :D:
