Downtimes
I give Fastpass credit for one thing.
I was at DCA on Sat with my Parents and Boyfriend. We were in line for Screamin'. While we were in line the attraction went 101 and well the cast members had to go rescue people off the BIG lift. Needless to say I think the whole PR situation was handled poorly but that's besides the point. If Screamin's Fastpass line had not been there we most likely would have been stuck on the lift in the train. So thank you fastpass for allowing me not to lose my lunch cause I have a fear of hieghts.
(Oh GMC I saw you on Saturday.....)

How was it handle poorly? And why is it "needless to say?" There are only so much that we can tell you that is going on, and also, if you are trying to ask one of the ones running to a brake zone to either evac, or get it reset quickly, then of course they aren't going to have time to say what happened. Just curious.

I saw ... YOU FACE! actualy i dunno if i did, or which saturday it was, ya'll gotta promise to come look for me at jungle, i should be easy to spot i'm the only (male) trainee there for most of the days, and if anyone knows Lacy from steam trains, make sure she at least tries her jungle training, i know she's very nervous.
Gimme some soft serve!
Where Dan? (CSULB is big)
Saturday October 30th GMC
Well there was no one explaining to the queue that the attraction was down. You could barely hear the PA speil. I understand in a downtime there is A LOT going on. Whoever was spieling over the PA sounded like they had marbles in their mouth. I am sure it was done well. Those of us in the queue just felt a little put off that was all.

where and when did you see me (on that, the worst day of my life!) and as far as marbles in the mouth, i'm an excellent annunciator, and so are several others that i've heard at indy, however the PA system was probly the problem, you can't even hear speils in the rotunda or the film room, i'd be happy for a marbles in the mouth spiel... at least you can hear that.

GMC dahling I was complaining about the Screamin' downtime.
Oh you were at Unload? queue side of the load area (if you are facing away from the elevators the left side). Then when we were leaving you were at Greeter. Oh and GMC? I have recruited others in the plan to get you back. -evil laugh-

What time did this happen? I was there that morning, and we went down for a temporary situation. If it was at that time, then it was me over the PA, or another one of my friends. But we didn't need to evac, so it must've been later. Once again, just curious.Stduck wrote:Well there was no one explaining to the queue that the attraction was down. Yeah, I was already gone. I can't believe they ended up going down later. That is crazy! Well, sorry if it was handle bad, especially the speil. I know that I still get nervous spieling about going down to the queue. I can nervous quite remember how to say things. It's funny but because those of us who have less seniority hardly ever are at Screamin', so we hardly have to take the tower position during a down time. You probably had someone who hasn't had to deal with it, or someone who's only dealt with it once or twice.
