Did you really just ask that?CrystalSkull wrote:My question is... Is Pooh really the most evil attraction ever?
YES IT IS THE MOST EVIL ATTRACTION EVER! It breaks down all the time. In the 10 months I have worked the mansion (maybe its 11 now....) I have NEVER evacuated Mansion. In the 3.5 months I have known Pooh, I lost count of the number of times I have evacuated Pooh after 5. It's just button pushing.....

These are the rafts TO the island. Not AROUND, not OVER, not UNDER and not THROUGH. Thank you for riding T. Saywer's shuttle service please visit again.
I've heard.....when I have guests complain about being evaced off Pooh I tell them "Think of it this way be glad you were stuck on Pooh where it takes us 15 minutes to get everyone out as apposed to pirates where you could be sitting in the boat for an hour or longer" That usually shuts them up.Scream162 wrote:Don't cry about evacuations if you haven't done a Pirates evac... I think I'm up to 9 of those. Eeesh.
Mansion Evacs are easy, I've never done it but I know I could. Just pop open buggies with my foot. I can even do it on the inclines.

Pooh is the spawn of Satan.... I cant belive I was on opening crew for that... thank god 4 months after the landlock I was trained on splash have not seen pooh scince then... I use to hate working on Indy with a passion but if I could I would gladly trade my Pooh knowlage to have my Indy Knowlage back....
geeze pooh and indy have the same standings in their respective lands... and they use the same motion base simulator technology. In just about three months i've been there, at indy, we've evaced at least three times a week, if not day, and i've seen it have all kinds of exciting problems.... "the animation started freaking out, Indy's haveing convulsions, all three of them... the snake struck at David, and MUMMYS.... EVERYWHERE!" from what i hear they shook loose all thier parts, and we still don't know where one of thier heads is...i soo want it to happen agian tonight.
Gimme some soft serve!
Pooh is usually a zone 34 (that's the magic break down number). Sometimes its a TLT. I've seen it be a pressure matt triggered and a show door failing to open, Beehicle trapped...good times.
But I wanna learn Indy....

I would much rather have a downtime on an attraction that is close to the ground as apposed to one that is full of high brake zones.
When we have a downtime on Screamin, regardless if we need to evac or not, every brake zone needs to be reset. And while we welcome the occasional downtime, I am terrified of having to climb Zone 4 again. I did it during training, and hopefully I won't need to do it again. Unless, I become trainer some day. For those of you who don't know, Zone 4 is the highest point on the coaster, it's the part that has the Mickey head on it. It's an amazing view, but for those who hate heights, or, as in my case, stairs, it can be terrifying!
