Unfortunately FastPass is one of those things that, now that the public has had a taste of it, Disney could never remove. Could you imagine the complaints if FP was removed and people actually had to wait in line?! Next you'd have a line out of the exit full of guests with re-ads from City Hall....

i don't think that we'd give re-ads for attractions, just because we made a change, i don't see any kind of recovery devices being used to comp guests with the new GAC system... i say that the new attractions, designed, or redesigned, with fast pass in mind ought to utilize it, but the ones not desinged as such maybe should only use it during the busy season. and Duck, i love you to death, but seriously, maybe time to stop complaining about fast pass, for you it's a seasonal ordeal, but for me, it's daily, regaurdless of time of year, in the past six months i've seen indy w/o fast pass ONCE, and i have a feeling that it was for staffing issues, and not for park attendance, wich was luckily low that day.

Lol what a dumbass. If he was as excited as he says he was, he should have patented it. And what the hell was he expecting mailing it to them?!?! Thats assuming he even did invent it.

"Here Disney had told me that the system wouldn't work," Keyes said. "They told me it was an inconvenience to the guests.
Guess what dude... It doesn't work.

OMG i am soooo friggin tired of the bitching about fast pass, whether it works or not is irrelvent, it's here, it's queer, deal with it! remind me to not visit this tread anymore, the negativity is getting to me, and i'm not wanting to hear anymore about it, Thank the powers that be that i'm going to an attraction with higher labor need, and NO FASTPASS, that way i can stop hearing about every single pissy CM bitch about how the system is faulted and doesn't work, but refuses to do anyhting about it!!!

Why did the guy wait 5 yrs. to file a lawsuit? Oh, maybe he was waiting at his mail box for Disney's reply.

You know, he shouldn't be too proud of inventing that. If it turns out he did, all of the angry CM's now know his name and can track him down. This country needs a good lynch mob, I think.

Aren't auto ride-stops and an auto e-stops two completely different things? I know at Carrousel and Dumbo they are. But then again they could be the same cause when either of them happen at routes we still power down. Oh goodness :? now I've even confused my self.
The ride stop at Dumbo does almost the exact same thing as the estop. Only when you hit the estop the Dumbos stop quickly and you have to hit the power disconnect to lower the Dumbos. If you hit the ride stop it slows to a stop, and then you just lift the mushroom and hit load park...no powering down required. At Carrousel, a ride stop makes the horses go one full cycle before stoping, and estop is a quarter of a turn...fairly quickly. They would rather us hit the estop instead of the ride stop on either attraction. YEAH good times on classics!!!
I know that silly!! But I wasn't talking about manual ridestops/e-stops, I was just saying AUTO ridestops/ e-stop you have to power down for but are caused for different reasons.
