If you think that's bad, not knowing what city, etc., a park is in, I've seen guidebooks say that both Disneyland Resort and Knott's Berry Farm are near, or even in, Los Angeles! Usually in Los Angeles County, but we all know they're in Orange county! And both places are about a 45 min.-1 hour drive from L.A., depending on traffic as well as route, and at what part of L.A. you're talking about. But if you mean downtown L.A., yeah, hour drive at least. Not what most of of would call near, but then some people think near is like you could almost walk to it, others think near is less than an hour drive.

Now I know, going completely off topic is pretty much standard around here... and I totally don't mind, but since the thread seems to have gone off topic and then died... and here I am watching another family go to Disney World on my TV... I'm bumping this up in case someone has an answer to my original inquiries.

Of course... if ya don't... we can just let it die for good. *Higgles.*

It was probably because the Makeover family were "some of THOSE people." If someone on this end of the island scored a makeover I'd be there in a flash to help out. I don't care who it is.
