25 things...

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

PART II

14) I love photography, and would like to start a photography business some day. I love having a camera on me, and I love capturing the world around me. When I take a portrait, I understand more and more how some cultures believe that in taking someone's photograph, you take their soul at that moment. I've had people hire me to take pictures of their kids for their Senior portraits. I've also done some model photography. I love shooting people.

15) I love finding out useless information. The more I know that you would never want to, the better.

16) I've had 126 lives in my hands while driving a bus.

17) I was asked by Andre Ward to have dinner with him and his team when I was acting as their chauffeur. When I first declined, his coach threatened bodily harm. Then, they "forced" me to enjoy a basketball game between the Blazers and the Bulls with them from their suite, along with Floyd Mayweather, Jr. I also met their whole families that night, including Mayweather Sr. I've also driven Phil Knight, and on a few occasions run into him in the bathroom at Nike World Headquarters.

18) I find it easier to drive a 45' motor coach than a car. I also find that, unlike most other people, giving a tour while driving actually helps improve my concentration. The only times I took a Disney bus off property were when I was not spieling.

19) I came across the name Big Wallaby quite accidentally. I was signing up for a forum (now gone), decided to go with a wallaby because my wife and I want one. I didn't realize the parallels my name had with Wombat or think about how it could relate to my name. Had I, I might not have chosen the name.

20) There are two things I would rather be than a Cast Member... but if I had the opportunity to do either, I would remain a Cast Member on the side because I do love it so much: A helicopter tour pilot in Hawaii (I'm old enough now that that's never going to happen); the announcer for a TV show.

21) I used to have a huge collection of unique cigarette lighters. I've never smoked one, but if you needed a light I could always help.

22) At one time, I could speak with two voices at the same time, in two different notes. I am no longer able to do so.

23) I believe that everyone wants to control the people around them in some way or another: It is a yearning we all have. The way I want to control people around me is to make them smile and laugh. If I can do that to you, I control exactly the part of your life that I want to.

24) One of my favorite things is scambaiting, an activity where you engage Nigerian 4-1-9 scammers and waste their time in the hopes that they lose enough time on you that you might just save one person from being scammed. I am working on one scammer right now to get him to get a tattoo on the small of his back that is really, really crude and not very Big Wallaby-like. I'm really hoping he complies.

25) I once had a hole in my eardrum. I was still able to hear through my ear, but any time I would pop my ears, I would hear a loud squeal... almost like one of those siren whistles. Anyone near me could hear it, too.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Here goes...some things are totally random and irrelevant. :)

1. I’m a huge WDW fan. My 1st trip was when I was 2 or 3 yrs old. I’ve set foot on Disney Property 18 times since then.

2. I am currently a senior in high school, and I’m hoping to do the WDWCP for the 2010 Spring Advantage season as a Monorail Pilot.

3. Speaking of which, I’ve been a “Monorail Nut” since I was 10 or 12 yrs old. Could never figure out why, but when I was really little I was into trains and I’m kind of into technology and I enjoy anything to do with operations.

4. I know A LOT more about a WDW Monorail than a “non-pilot” should.

5. When I was 7 or 8 yrs old, I got my 1st Monorail Playset…and it was Monorail Red. The next year later my brother got Monorail Black and we would always have something to do on a rainy day. We still have both playsets and I have Red on display with a whole bunch of my other WDW memorabilia.

6. I’m not a partier…I don’t drink, smoke or do any other type of drug which makes me an outcast in my town at times.

7. I love to drive more than I love to eat, lol! :D:

8. I drove down to FL & back from CT 6 times.

9. I currently work for the school district in which I’m a current student. Some of my peers have a hard time understanding that it's legit employment. I love my job, some days more than others. It really helped me build an AWESOME resume. :)

10. I have achieved “lynchpin” status at my school.

11. Additionally, I’m the “sound guy” at all of my school’s athletic events such as the basketball games.

12. I have a love for sound, including PA & LIVE Sound systems.

13. I also have a love for sports but I’m not an athlete because of a medical condition with my foot.

14. To this date, I’m the only student that has (legally) been on the roof of my school.

15. I hate shopping. Especially around the holiday season. I could probably write a book on my less than ideal experiences at popular stores.

16. I hate crowded rooms, areas, etc. But it’s alright on the Monorails when it comes to standing room because, well it’s a Monorail, and 2nd, it’s only temporary so when it’s time to get out it’s not like we’re stuck.

17. I absolutely HATE the cold. Another reason why I’m looking forward to the CP, next year I’ll only have to deal with half of the winter…hopefully.

18. When I was in jr. high school I was really into broadcasting, and then I decided to go into education last year, and now this year I’m completely undecided. Shucks, another excuse to pursue the WDWCP!!

19. I love just about all music, although I have no patience for most rap and death metal.

20. I have never been out of my time zone or out of the USA. I’ve been as far west as Kentucky, as far north as Massachusetts, and as far south as Florida.

21. Currently I have no desire to travel internationally.

22. My (parked) truck has been broadsided at my school by a teacher. Usually it’s the other way around…a student hitting a teacher!

23. I love Segways. I’ve done the WL tour and the Epcot tour.

24. Speaking of tours, I’ve also been on the steam train tour at the MK. My favorite part was sitting in the driver’s seat of the Lilly Belle and of course, getting to see the Monorail Shop up close!

25. I still haven’t done the Keys to the Kingdom tour. It’s still on my list of things to do at WDW.

Any why wouldn't you want to be associated with a wombat??? This one did surprise me -- I thought you picked the name because of the parallel with your real name.

I've never done this, but I've wanted to. I really enjoy reading others' accounts of their scambaiting successes -- most of them are hilarious. (I presume you've been to 419eater.com?)

I have been trying to do this since the thread started, but have hesitated. Ok here it goes:

1. I have cruised the entire length of the Panama Canal from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean.
2. The Panama Canal cruise was the first cruise I had ever taken. Over two weeks on a boat. Wow.
3. I have swum with dolphins.
4. Because of dyslexic-like problems in math, I was told by more than a few college counselors to get an "easy" degree. I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management. :D:
5. As my screen name suggests, I am a huge Snoopy fan and collector.
6. I met my best friend (who now works at DL) while we worked at Knott's. Supervisors made the lame excuse of not placing us on the same shifts because we generated too many sales.
7. I first went to DL when I was two years old. I loved every minute of it.
8.I love horses and really wish I had the opportunity to ride and compete in shows.
9. I love plush animals. I have hundreds.
10. I love going to Build A Bear. I like to give my animals unusual names.
11. The first Disney movie I saw was 101 Dalmatians when I was 2. The first one I remember seeing was Fantasia when I was three. It's still my favorite Disney film.
12. I have met John Williams (the composer of Star Wars,et al.) He blushes when you tell him you love his music.
13. When I passed my driver's test, it was on a Friday the 13th.
14. I have one brother who is the complete polar opposite of me. We unfortunately don't get along.
15. I love to read and read just about any genre but horror and romance. (Though those two seem to go hand in hand.) :)
16. I have met the real Kermit and Miss Piggy and Elmo. It was amazing. Muppets are magic.
17. I have a very overactive and creative imagination. I can create stories out of anything-but rarely do.
18. I have been to WDW twice. First time was in 1985, the second time was in 1997. Epcot is my favorite park.
19. I didn't ride Space Mountain until I was 13.
20. I hope someday to own a German Shepherd dog-my absolute favorite breed.
21. I have a nose for trouble. I am the one at work who finds all the inventory errors and problems with merchandise.
22. I love bad puns.
23. I dream of working at Pixar. I want to work in their marketing dept or anything creative.
24. Even though my parents and brother drive me crazy I love them dearly and can't bear the thought of them not being there.
25. I love the popcorn at DL. I make a beeline for any cart that is popping up a fresh batch.

I didn't say that I don't, just that I didn't know I was going to be at the time. Had I thought about the parallels to my name, I would have gone with something else. Oh well. We make an awesome team.

419eater is where I started. I've had conversations with Shiver Metimbers, and am a known postwhore there (the first time they deleted the PWT, or Postwhore Thread, my count dropped by half). However, I keep up my own when I am involved there. I used to run a safe drop box for their premium members to use, and am about ready to open another up here. The only reason I stopped there was that I moved and didn't have time to continue my activities. I'm getting back into it. My brother has some artwork that I got a scammer to send me... if he (the scammer) spent half the time on his art that I so willingly wasted, he could really make something of his life.

Currently, some of the 419eater crew have a scammer from Nigeria stuck in Chad, which is *not* a very nice place to be right now. Good chance his life is in very real danger. He's been stuck there since April 1, 2008. Since he is having to watch his back and take care of himself, I am guessing he doesn't have time to scam victims...

I'm game.

1) I don't respond to the list type things that go around on social networking sites, even my wife recognizes this and I am always the answer to "person less likely to respond to this" question. If you want to know more about me, get to know me.

That is common knowledge, especially if you read EVERY post. Speaking of fruit tarts, where is Susi?
