Uh oh, sure hope I haven't been breaking the rules all these years! Mr. Syndrome and I almost always get up for our photos. I do, however, keep all bodily gasses to myself, whether or not a character lets loose first.

I have a friend who swears that Tigger pooted once when she was taking his pic.

can you imagine the fun if you are not a live face charactor, and you rip
one off, and have to smell the aroma for the rest off your set?
sort of a big sweaty gas baggy thing going on....

We dined at 1900PF a few days ago, and the sisters were really on the mark!

they (seperately) came over and posed for pictures, as did all the royal guest CM's!

We always stand for photos  and have never been asked to do otherwise. But it is only during the time the character has come to our table and it is in the immediate vicinity of our table.
We don't attack the characters while they are doing other tables.
The only time we actually asked a character to pose again was when goofy was wandering aimlessly in a rather empty Cape May...

I don't put anything past SG's but really, why would anyone want to get up off their seat and leave their food to meet a character when you know the character will be coming to you? I mean, stupidity vs laziness. Yeah, i'm letting my laziness win THIS fight XD

(?) You obviously have never seen kids getting hyped up on the moment (and sugar) when their favorite character makes an enterence!

I must admit that at 1900 PF, we went to an evening dining, and it was not so bad.

We did meet a semi-SG mom while waiting outside, that complained that the dress, make-up, hair styling plus reservations came to a hefty amount. (and that was just for HER, not her little girl..HA)

It wasn't all that bad, as most of the kids waited at their table.

Honestly I like to stand when having my picture taken because I look thinner!
We went to 7 character meals last month and for most of the pictures I am standing.

By the way. that was a great trip and thanks to all of the CMs that made it so special.
