I can shop or dine at home - the AC SCREAMS Disney. I too thought maybe moving it to AK or AKL - anything to save the AC. I never liked the clubs - but AC, and to a lesser degree CW, were wonderful, affordable alternatives for teens and their parents. All those little princesses do grow up - and where else can you take them to have a good time when they are teens? I only go to DD because of AC - but while there my daughter and I have dropped a fair amount of cash. I think they are killing the goose that laid the golden egg, but I am biased.
And I have an actual love letter from Hathaway, who needs cuddlewinks! :D:
Wait...
YOU'RE Weggie? He sent me that letter too! That two timing....ADVENTURER!!!
edited to add funny story here- we went to AC for the very first time our last trip I wanted to post the story in my blog but I never got the trip report written. Anyway, they could tell we were first timers and since we ordered the non-alcoholic drinks they really played up to us. The barstool thing alone LOL I was laughing so hard I almost slipped off and put it this way at that point it would have been a LONG fall!
Samantha Sterling posed for a pic with me :) I regret that I didn't get one with Hathaway- though I did compliment him on his scarf and get a salute LOL.
In talking with Samantha and telling her I have a major/minor Amelia Earhart obsession as well as the whole adventuring thing being huge with me- she gave me a TON of stuff to take home. I'm going to do a shadowbox. We got to talking because I was so excited I got the atlantis matchbox and napkin given to me during the Balderdash cup. I squealed so loud, I was so excited about it.
Now that stuff will be even more priceless to me cause it will have been a once in a lifetime night...I really hope they do save it in some form though and if anybody knows any "Adventurers" who were working on Monday night, April 21st, I was the chick with the scarf, the forearm crutch, and the stars in her eyes. And I do thank you ALL for a night I won't forget.
We were learning the salute, and my husband and I were looking at each other when we did it, and Samantha says to Hathaway:
"Did you just see that? That cute young couple just Kungalooshed each other. You know what that means?"
HB: "Oh yes, I know..."
SS. "Someone is going to have to get a room soon!"
ROFLMAO
