What kind of printer do you have, Susi? Mine takes tricolor cartridges and black cartridges. Too bad they're not refillable, though--I checked. Mine's an HP Deskjet3930v, and except for a tendency to either spit out or completely devour paper, it's a nice machine. But I think the reason it does that is it has to be full of paper, or the vacuum doesn't work right--I think. Of course, I use it so rarely, the dust on the paper probably gives it fits too. I don't think I've seen/heard of a printer that requires individual colors in the inks.

a lot of the bigger ones in the main office take three color cartridges, plus black. the five I have in my and DW's home office take the tricolor and black!

Ours is an HP Officejet Pro L7650 All-in-One. It is a printer, copier, fax machine and scanner. It takes 4 cartridges, a fat black one, and one skinny one of each color, yellow, magenta, azure. It does not work as well as I would like. it jams up often, but then I may be overloading the paper and it runs out of yellow ink sooooooooo..fast. I print lots of pictures and it really runs through those cartridges. The magenta ones last forever, I have a stack of em, but have to continually buy yellow ones.

Anyway, I printed out the Wall*E on photo paper and he turned out nicely! That paper is so great. Makes your pictures look like they were professionally done! I was editing out pics last night on my camera so I could load them and get them over to my photobucket. I have not yet loaded the WDW trip pics to photobucket. I am so behind on everything. Laying down a lot makes you get behind on everything!
