Geez, it shows I only go to Knott's during Haunt so naturally I wouldn't see them.
But I WORKED those two attractions, Walter K and Grand Sierra. I piloted the boat, not the train. Just did guest control for that. Gods, it was scary when you had to stop the boat when the bridge rose and keep talking to the guests with that crazy spiel. But I enjoyed it nonetheless. (call me kooky)
The boat's gone?!?
I seriously need to go to Knott's when it's not October.

Yes, and it's about time--that thing had more problems near the end, because God forbid they should do any real maintenence work on it. More than once I overshot the dock; if it wasn't too bad, I could get out and push the boat back to proper position. If it went too far, I had to go around again. That thing was supposed to be able to go in reverse, but I seriously doubt it had a reverse gear left the last time I took it out before I was walked out. Oh, well, since construction of Silver Bullet took out half the route, it wasn't much of a ride. Kind of romantic that the GSSRR, whose locomotive was dubbed the Cordelia K, and of course the boat was the Walter K, it kind of symbolized the lifelong partnership that was the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Knott. Okay, mushy part over.
Why bother going to Knott's? The place is a ghetto that's getting worse by the day. I understand what finally killed the Walter K was construction of the new Pony Express ride.
