Fastpasses in general were a mistake from the beginning.

IMHO not having FP is one of the things they did right about Nemo... If the line started at 4 hours w/out FP, it would have easily gone up to 6-7 with FP.

Also, I'm really glad DCA's Toy Story Midway Mania will not have Fastpass even though DHS's will.

Or go to the Alternate viewing area- there is only seating in there for a few people, but it is great for wheelchair, disabled or claustrophobic persons, walk-on last Sunday when we saw it for the first time.

Maybe people have realized that Nemo isn't that great of a ride.

I mean, it's entertaining and well-done, but it's too long for most little kids' attention spans and most of older people I know miss the original subs.

When we were there last week, hubby went back to the park late while I crashed in bed. He rode it a little before park closing, which was at midnight, and only waited 25 mins. He said it was just as well I didn't bother because it would probably have made me claustrophobic. Does anybody ever actually freak out on that ride?

I don't know but my brother got a nosebleed right after we got off the original 20,000 Leagues ride. I told him he'd better forgo a career on a submarine if THAT one gave him nosebleeds! :p:

I loved the original subs, I love Nemo too. If you are in line with a SG in front/behind you and you are lucky enough to get on the same sub, you can get revenge by floating an air biscuit. Sure there are those around you who will be caught up in the crossfire, but their are casualties in every war

As you're on board a submarine, wouldn't it be a sea biscuit?

And if you can't produce on command, mustering up a hacking cough every few seconds would be not quite as effective/satisfying, but still better than nothing at all.

I don't get claustrophobic, but it was awfully tight in there.

Is the spiral stairs the only way in or is there a handicapped entrance that I didn't notice?

The stairs are it.
