Your Nemo queue SGT predictions

Post by AlpineDL » Fri May 25, 2007 4:06 pm

It's obvious that 3+ hour waits in an open roped queue stretched between two lands is going to lead to some simply bizarre behavior, and stupid questions, and hilarious complaints. Any predictions on unforeseen and memorable SGT's to be witnessed this summer?

It would somewhere be along the line of:

SG: Where is the end of the line?
CM: Oh, it would be somewhere near "It's A Small World"!
SG: You kidding me?
CM: NOPE!

SG: How long is the wait?
CM: Oh................about 5 hours!!
SG: WHAT?!??! That is ridiculous!!

SG: Where is the fast pass?
CM: There is no fast pass!
SG: WHAT?!?!?!

SG: Where is Captain Nemo?

SG: Where is 20,000 leagues Under The Sea?

To be continued...................

Rope Rage is when a guest ducks under a rope to be with family. The other guests get Rope Rage and attack verbally. Popcorn thrown at the violator of the sacred rope laws will be expected.

I dont know nothing about birthing babies but with a line like that who know how many kids might be born while mom waits in line.

Sunstroke and heatstroke are good possibilities.

Where's the ECVs? All the ECV's and wheelchairs will be over there like always.

Disney management will probably so danged incompetent as to not see the potential for marketing at the lines. Fans, spritzers, sodas, ice, popcorn and more could be sold. Get your cute Nemo hat so as to protect you br.... cough, child's head.

CM: Welcome to Nemo's ride.
SG shouting: What do you mean Nemo's ride, this is supposed to be the monorail line.
CM: I am sorry sir but this is the line for the new submarine ride.
SG: I am a lady I will have you know and I want to speak to a manager NOW. I want on the monorail NOW.

Probably a lot of SGs in the wrong lines. Pushing, shoving, pickpockets and a lot of cranky people.

At Monorail Entrance
SG: Excuse me, is this the Nemo line.
CM: No, sorrry, this is the line for the monorail.
SG: Where is the line for the Nemo Ride?
CM: It's over there where you see the long line.
SG: THAT'S the line?
CM: Yup!

Or vice versa:
At the Nemo entrance
SG: Is this the monorail.
CM: Nope, that's the next line over.
SG: Oh.

Me, I'm a little more concerned about how many kids will be conceived while their parents wait in line.

We were noticing that tonight, since we took the Monorail in from DTD for the first time in ages...speed ramps long gone, twisting exit on the east side now... I was only imagining the claustrophobia to come once Nemo is up and running to the public and one is trying to exit the Monorail from the east...

If I remember correctly, every new ride or retrofit/enhancement generally starts off with a three hour wait at the beginning...should be lovely in the heat of August. I feel for you Tomorrowland folks.

Nemo was poorly designed.

I went on a CM preview and I couldn't figure out the line when no one was in it.

I'm still curious as to know why there weren't any fast passes planned, why the ride is always in extended queue mode, why the extended queue hits small world on occasion, etc..

I'm assuming they didn't realise how popular the ride was going to be.

Truth: There are no sewers below Disneyland, and therefore no alligators in them. The secret tunnels are infested with mutant rats, however.

The Nemo line has been dying down. It is getting close to 45 - 30 minutes now.
