Speaking of bad parents, I was working Guide I the other day and this little girl about 3 years old hopped out of her stroller. The mother threw her back in the stroller and yelled at her "You better stay in that stroller!" She started to cry really badly and said "I wanna walk" The dad then yells at her at the top of his lungs "You can't walk because you're bad!"
I don't know what happened previously, but I doubt it was the little girl's fault. I wanted to kick the parents asses soooo bad.
I felt really sorry for the girl :(

I know we've said this before here, but damn - it seems any damn fool can contribute to the gene pool in this world and it isn't right. I'm not saying there aren't kids who don't occasionally deserve a light swat on the behind for misbehaving badly, but the things you see people hitting kids for in public often seem so trivial...Jay Leno is always making jokes about fat women beating their kids in Wal Mart or K-Mart, but I swear, you go into a discount store and there is always some kind of family screaming and yelling going on...

Sometimes I wonder how we became the most obese nation on the world, and then I read that post and it just amazed me that somebody would yell and scream at their children because they want to walk. It won't suprise me that if this family came back in 7 years or so and the child is still in the stroller because she was "bad" and she won't be allowed to walk.Wizard69 wrote:this little girl about 3 years old hopped out of her stroller. Isn't Disneyland supposed to be a "sancutary" or something?
Back in 2000, my dad, myself, and my wicked stepmother were standing in line at Indy, and they had just replaced the pole in the ceiling room, and right in front of us, this little kid, he looked to be between the ages of 6 and 8, was messing with it...and the ceiling started to "fall", and his dad started yelling at him saying stuff like "good job dumbass, you just broke the ride!" and kept slapping his face....my dad and my wicked stepmom started to yell at the guy, and he was like "it's none of your damn business, I'll do what I want to my kid!"...and as we walked, my dad told a CM working on Indy about it, and I guess he called security, because next thing I knew, three security guys asked him to go with them, and I never saw that man again...

OMG
HAHAHA as a (i'm so ashamed to admit this) walmart associate i can totally vouch that this is true...also we get extremely bratty children who just scream at the top of their lungs so the whole store can hear and the parent just keeps walking like nothing is happening. i'm not saying i condone hitting a child especially in public...but having a child u can't control is almost as bad of a parent.BirdMom wrote:I know we've said this before here, but damn - it seems any damn fool can contribute to the gene pool in this world and it isn't right. I touch them,
