So... would you see this and think, "Cast Member!" or possibly "Fount of knowledge of all things Disney!"??? I don't see it.
You want the truth, even with the tag being a different color,........ at first glance I would think you are a CM. The lanyard and name tag positioning would be the thing I would be looking for in a hurry to get help on something. I think maybe the shirt may have something to with it too--the button-downie uniform looking thing. Most guests are not aware that the red badges are not CM/Disney official so they probably looking at that first.

Okay... so if I want to avoid being mistaken for a CM, I've learned I should:
  • Relocate or hide the GOH badge
  • Eliminate one or both of the lanyards (or just give the pins to Churchy :rolleyes :)
  • Wear a t-shirt
  • Read a map upside down
  • Look even more clueless
  • Smile less
  • Wander aimlessly
Got it! :D:

Yep, I can see it! The GOH Badge is really the thing. It looks like a CM badge to a guest who is not real familiar with Disney. The lanyard with pins would definitely attract traders and upon seeing the badge with the lanyards, yes, I can see how they might mistake you for a CM who trades pins! I might even mistake you for a CM with that dazed, glazed look! hahahahahaahaha.... :p:

OH YEAH! Watch out for the Menopausal Maniac! I don't care if I spill YOUR blood, Mr and Mrs. SG and SG kids, just not mine..... :p:
NO ONE gets my table. Of course I won't start a stupid fight or make a scene, it will all be very subtle and over with before they know it. I will have my table and they will still be standing there wondering why they are still standing there. Heeheehee. And if subtle does not work, I give them a full on ass kicking! ;)

Heeheehee...the rest is exactly what you do...Oh, and also demand compensation for any *lost* magic and ask for a refund on your passes at the END of the day because the lines were too long and complain at City Hall and ask "What are you gonna give me for my troubles?" THEN you will be immune to being mistaken for a CM or someone with a fount of Disney knowledge!!!!!

You think Susi wants those pins?

I think when we do a big SGT get-together someday, we're going to have to do a pin trading event, but differently from anyone else. We can throw them at each other, all while the bongo flies overhead. :flybongo:

And a special thank you to Zazu! :achmed:
