As a Jewish vegetarian, I am totally confused. Maybe I can eat bacon too!?! I'll need to go talk to a rabbi about this...

David Letterman's mom said, "Bacon makes everything taste better!" Even for a vegetarian.

"Excuse me, are those ducks real?"
"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."

Yes you just have to eat it in the back yard and only if it was on sale ;-)

I've had something like this happen.

Someone asked us about our gluten-free pastas, and when they found out they were made from rice noodles. Changed their minds and asked for a normal Spaghetti, which are, of course, full of gluten. I eventually had to ask Back of House to handle the manner (I don't want to give someone something that could cause them to fall ill, even if that's what they want), so I don't really know what happened. However, I'm still a little shocked that someone would actually ask for something that might cause them to become sick  .

I know some gluten intolerant people, and they can have gluten in small doses. Depends on the person, The one I know will eat gluten if the alternative is something thay they cannot stand. Depending on the person, sometimes the pain is worth it.

I have celiac and right now have a lot of pain. People with celiac CANNOT have any gluten. There are some people with mental disorders such as autism that are on gluten and casein free diets. There is a growing trend toward eating gluten free food to improve health in autistic children.

I never will eat gluten but will eat a smidge of egg, soy or dairy.

I could be a vegetarian if it weren't for the existence of bacon. It's god's meat candy.

I use lower sodium pound packs or the 12 ounce premium of the store brand, not that horrid farmer john's. I am munching on bacon right now. This is the premium store brand.
