I love to people watch when I am waiting for my flight and I love to see planes taking off and landing. Airports are fascinating places with all sorts of people going to all sorts of places! Thanks for the pic of the plane. Next trip, I am going to need to get the trip from the VERY beginning (leaving the house) to the very end like you did here....I am going to steal your idea!!!! Don't sue me, Barrister! ;)

Not a problem at all. I write these detailed reports precisely because I wish more people would do it this way. It's rare enough for those of us who don't work at the World or have an AP to get there, so I live vicariously through other people's stories until I can get back there. And so I write the kind of report that I like to read, in hopes that others will be able to enjoy it like I do. (It also is a great deal of fun to read ourselves months and years later!)

And if you are shy there is always the infamous "Black Bar" across the face that is rather easy to add in most any photo editing software. It is simple and suprizingly effective. Even someone like Zazu with his incandescent park shirts is hard to recognize from a "barred" photo as he is (saddly) not the only one wearing such vacation attire in the parks. :D: There is even someone wearing similar clothing at every performance of the Indy Jones stunt show at the Studios that I have ever seen. What's the odds. ;) :D:

True -- though the only pics of Zazu I have he's in costume, so I'm figuring he'd still be identifiable to the powers that be. So far I'm planning just to mention that I met him at the Contemporary without even saying at what specific position he was working. Since my reports give specific dates and times, it wouldn't be hard to i.d. him from date+time+job position.

After all, sometimes even paranoid people are actually being followed. :)

Wallaby's another story, though. We spent some time together in the Studios with him in civilian clothes -- wearing one my jackets in fact, cold as it was -- so a little identity masking might work. So BW, which do you prefer -- black square? blue "Court TV" oval? Head of a celebrity pasted over yours? If so, which one?

Wait, I know. I just need to find a good head shot of an actual wallaby. :D:

I agree completely. It is so much fun to go back and look at a Trip Report months and years later and bring all that magic back. :D:

That works for me.

And my work is already up on your blog, I see. The family pic is the one I took at Poly. Came out nicer than I remember.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Yep, that's your photography! Hang on, I'll add a "Photo by Wallaby" credit.

After multiple requests to do so, I have begun uploading our vacation pictures to a photo-sharing site, Webshots, so that you can see more pictures, and have them larger and better quality.

The pictures will be uploaded in blocks, after the trip report covering them has been posted, so check back often. I will try to flag new uploads in my trip report.

The photos posted so far are located at this link on Webshots. Enjoy!
