Wombat's Disney Adventure

Post by BRWombat » Mon Jan 07, 2008 12:40 pm

Hey all -- I've started posting the trip report from my Walt Disney World vacation and Disney Wonder cruise, with lots of stories to tell, including some amazing magical experiences and a few stupid guest tricks too!

I've always written my trip reports in a present-tense, "you-are-there" format, to allow the reader to experience the magic of the vacation as we did. That will still be true this time, but I am making a few changes, starting with the fact that it's being posted on a blog.

Obviously, apart from the first few "prologue"-style posts, this trip report is being written after our return, but I will be taking advantage of the handy blogger.com feature that allows me to supply a specific time and date for posts to make it seem as if they are being posted as the trip unfolds. I've also decided to break up each day's events into multiple posts, rather than compile a single day into one lengthy post as in the past.

The first post -- written quite a while ago -- is already there, and new posts will be added frequently, so check back often. (I'll also post SGT's here as writing the trip report brings them to mind. We've got a doozy to share from our first day on the Wonder!)

The trip report website? WombatDisney.blogspot.com. Enjoy!!! :D:

Okay, read the introductory blog. Where's the rest of it? Want it NOW! Just like SG, I am demanding compensation, for having to wait while you get around to posting more trip report. Let's go, BRW, let's go! Get busy!! Need more, please. :D:

Yes you did, my bad. In compensation for that, have a shot of RUM!!

Date is secret, but very soon!!!! Sent in packet and everythngs fine. Actually its really easy and a bit suprising in the simplicity. Just had to notify my supervisor so that I can get the exit security debrief, turn in equiptment, and arrange any cases to be transferred and so forth.

BUT.......BACK TO THE WOMBAT ADVENTURE!!!!!

Hooray, Wombat is back! Would like to read MORE on your trip! Had to comfort myself during your absence by watching Growing Up Marsupial on the
?Discovery Channel.....Wombats are cute little critters, and usually much better behaved than the Tasmanian Devils! :p:

Interesting, I was looking at posts from 2006 and previous. At the top it had mention of the 2007-8 trip, but that was it. Am I missing something?

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

No, Wombat is missing something - the rest of his trip report!! I don't think he has posted it yet. He's busy unpacking his unmentionables, or catching up on sleep, or some other inane project instead of posting his trip report.

He's probably working to save up for the next Wombat Adventure.
