Anytime I see pictures of Disneyland or WDW I want to go RIGHT NOW!!!!!! The siren call of the Magic and Pixie Dust is too strong to resist! Even with a trip from Hell, I still want to be there instead of here, in this house! I really consider the Disneyland Hotel more home than this house. I have never gotten attached to this house enough to call it home. It is not home to me. We have not found our *home* yet. I know how much I love Florida and I am betting we will find our home there. I love being in Florida and I love that there is so much to do and that our joints will feel much better there. They did when we were there. I have relatives in Florida, so family is not that far away. My crazy Uncle Bob lives there. I love my Uncle Bob and Aunt Marion and we always stop to see them for a few days in Inverness when we come to The World! He really is nutz! Makes for a fun visit!ktulu wrote:I think we'll have to book breakfast with Goofy next time!
Even though this is the trip from hell, it makes me want to go back...now...
Anyway...back to the trip...
Next up on oour schedule was the Walk In Walt's Footsteps tour at 9:30. We rolled over to the Park and checked in and waited for our tour guide, AKA our *Plaid* :D: I wanna be a plaid. I would love doing tours. I could definitely see myself in that role. Our tour guide was Michael and he was amazing!

Michael knew everything about DL and Walt. He really made me want to be a Plaid. Here are some pictures from the tour. They take you all over and give you great unknown (unless you read all the Disney history books out there and even then some are no in the books) tidbits of info and they quash the urban legens about why Club 33 as named Club 33. It was NOT because there were 33 original sponsors at DL. It just happened to be the next address number on the Rue in New Orleans Square! Anyway, that is just one of the little bits of cool Disney info we learned. This was our first time on this tour and I think we would probably do it again, since each Tour Guide puts their own personality into the tour spiel and makes it different and fun.
On our way over to The First 50 Magical Years, I caught a photo of the Christmas tree in Town Square! So beautiful!

This was the first stop on the Tour!
