Patience, my friends, patience. Just the fact that I started this trip report almost two years ago should let you know how obsessive I am about it. It will get done. I had to cull through and edit my pictures (took over 1000, with about 850 keepers -- my digital camera was partially busted, so I couldn't delete the bad ones during the trip). I also have to work today. :(

I'm writing Day One now. There's one more installment in the "prologue" to be posted later today, and then we'll get to the actual trip.

Plus, it will take me a while to dream up some really creative lies about Wallaby. :D:

Heh, heh, heh... some things are left unspoken.

All the prologue is done, and I'm starting to post Day One, including pictures! http://WombatDisney.blogspot.com

Thats okay, sometimes a Marsupial has to do what a Marsupial has to do!!

Reading the blog, thats very fortunate that they re-booked you. Do they do that automatically when your flight delay caused a missed connection? and on another airline? Thats an unusual more to switch you to another airline!

Plus, if you had the time at DFW, you could get some really good shots of the OCC motorcycle in the terminal, if its still there!!!

Excellent, Wombat! I'm right there with ya, wondering how you're going to kill 6 hours at the airport. I can't remember, does DFW have a monorail system? That's how we kill time at ATL, riding the subway monorail around and around and around, people watching and making up stories about the various personalities that step into the monorail cars.

In Houston we go to the USO lounge and beg for a comfy chair to relax in. We're not military, but I was federal civil service for 37 years, so I play that card and most of the time it works and they'll let us relax there if they are not crowded.

Okay, BRW, great start to the TR. Now on with the show...

I've finished posting the first day of our trip report over at WombatDisney.blogspot.com, detailing our loooong day of travel to Orlando.

Day Two postings (where we finally get to Walt Disney World) are coming soon!

I love it when the airline switches terminals on you...

Great report so far! We are going to need larger photos of the Walt Disney suite ;)

Thanks! That's the direct benefit of holding the camera -- I stay out of the pics! :)

Yeah, I'm realizing I may have to post some pics to some photo-sharing site -- but it probably won't happen until after the report is written. In the meantime, you can click on the pictures to get slightly larger versions.

Excellent report Wombat! You definitely have to move some of those pics to a photo sharing site for those of us with bifocals! I love pictures of airports. I love airports! I love to people watch when I am waiting for my flight and I love to see planes taking off and landing. Airports are fascinating places with all sorts of people going to all sorts of places! Thanks for the pic of the plane. Next trip, I am going to need to get the trip from the VERY beginning (leaving the house) to the very end like you did here....I am going to steal your idea!!!! Don't sue me, Barrister! ;)
