OK the threads here seem pretty organic and go OT a good bit so here is a zig in the zag

Adult heelies, oh my F G*d I saw some punk (not the good kind) using some the other day in a crowded parking lot. I was a bitch and kept up hope Id see him slam into a car or bust his arse but no such luck.

What moron thought it was a good idea and then to start selling them to adults

Sorry my CM friends but I fear for your sanity with kids AND adults in them now

 Wonderful.

I would never wear those things. The angle you have to hold your foot to walk in them looks to be close to the angle I hold mine to keep the pedal on when I transcribe. After 6 hours, it HURTS. Badly.

I am so glad I don't work in the ER anymore.

:) I just spent the morning at the doctor's office trying to keep anyone from getting too close to me. The good news is my nasty racking cough is not contagious, but I didn't want to take chances. I hate sharing cooties.

Hear! Hear! I hated riding the damn thing at DL at Christmas. But I could not walk. My back is so bad, I cry at night. Yet, I *look* healthy enough to walk. God, If only I could. That was the first trip I have taken to DL and not been able to walk. It was heartbreaking, but I did get to enjoy the Park only a little; (only because some jag gave us the flu on top of it!!!!!) I hope I was polite and did not cut off anyone, I don't think I did. I was careful to watch everywhere around me. The only one that got hurt by my ECV was that jag kid who jumped over the front of it to beat me to get in line! He got a bleeding scratch on his ankle, but he is the one who jumped on the front of the scooter while I was moving and tried to stop as quickly as I could.

Maybe next trip I will be walking again. I need that steroid shot. And it has to work, if I am going to be able to walk next trip. I don't know. I already had one steroid shot last year and it did not work. They now want me to do a series of three and if they don't work, then surgery. I just want to walk and exercise again so I can lose the damn weight I have gained by being immobile from the back and arthritis. I have NEVER weighed this much in my life. I have always been active, until arthritis and a bad disk put me out of the movement game. I hate being sedentary, but I cannot walk far, or I have to take more morphine and Percocet and cry and that is no way to live. So the plan is fix the back and I get my life back! YES! :D: It has to work, or I will truly be a miserable bitch to live with if I can't get rid of this pain! :(

Okay I have another story but it is slightly OT.
Two stupid guests today...
I get in at 6:45 to do my track walks for EMH and when we are all set and open I go to rope drop. I get there and find a family has climbed under the rope and is trying desperately to get to Soarin' much to the chagrin of the CM's. I come over and am like Ma'am you all have to wait behind that rope. The park isn't officially open. To which this bitch says "We have to catch a flight and we ARE going on Soarin'." I said that I understood that but that they still have to wait until everyone can enter. "But we ran all the way here, how is that fair?" I told her all the other guests are there as well and deserve to get in at the same time. Finally I have to call over a manager to deal with this situation.

Later on I am at Standby Greeter, my eyes rolling in my head from sheer exhaustion and this kid is sitting on the rope. I politely ask him not to sit on the rope to which his smart ass snaps back "I don't care..." I almost punched him in face. "You would care when you fell and hit your head, and I am sure your parents would care." His dad made me laugh when he said, "I don't know, it might do him some good." I was glad the parents were on my side, they looked like they were going to backhand him when he talked back to me. It was very interesting.
Thank God I only had 6 hours today. Now I have two days off to play in the park!

No no no. Most men LIKE tools. We want tools. We must have tools. Power tools. Hand tools. Big tools. Small tools. Dump trucks. Cranes. Fire trucks. Submarines.

Tools tools tools tools tools tools tools tools!!!
(Tim ""The Toolman" Taylor grunt)
Tools tools tools tools tools tools tools tools!!!
