and my hearing is fine because I don't use "ear buds" that are causing hearing loss in our "yutes"
Hmmm, my hearing has issues related to music, but not ear buds. I did concert lighting and sound in my youth, and it was a time when no "real" soundman would be caught dead using any kind of earplugs. You'd lose a speaker in the stack and you'd run up on stage and stick your head in the speakers one at a time until you identified exactly which one had gone. Now I tend to lose conversation in background noise fairly easily.
Of course, it was towards the end of this stage in my life that I worked with a "more experienced" sound guy who travelled with the band. He mixed the system, and he was so deaf in the upper register that he had the tweeters so hot they would cut through steel. I realized then that some of those choices by real sound men might not be good ones.

What?!?!

Why were you listening to that last part, it was more of a footnote to everybody else. But if I knew how to hype a barge, I'd go to the islands any day!
You watch he probably won't hear that one at all cause I didn't get his attention first.

I'd love to get down but you can keep the bills. I like the feel of butter.
