Thank you for all that info. As far as the amount needed in an IV, I learned that when Little Wallaby was in the hospital. Apparently she is a bit allergic to fire ant bites, and wound up with a BP of 67/38, which prompted me to ask the question, "Is that machine working?" Triage nurse replied that of course it was, looked up from her paperwork, and fairly quickly went ahead and grabbed a wheel chair. Anyway, so they put an IV in her (Little Wallaby, not the nurse) and I saw the bubbles. Too much dramatic medicine TV, I asked about it, and the doctor gave me the same stats that you did.
As far as the hypospray, I would assume that it is putting anything that it shoots in as a sort of a mist. If you were to get the tiny air bubbles to form up into a single unit as I imagined, I wonder how big that would have to be to drop a pirate. I guess the question would be just how much nitrogen could you get into the reservoir, and would you be able to make the air essentially flow through the device. If they stroke out big enough, I should imagine death would be somewhat quick (again, I submit to anyone who would be more an authority than me, which would be someone who's been through a community college biology class). Mind you, I don't care about testing this theory out. Besides, I don't have a hypospray or anyone on whom I would be interested in doing the testing.I am okay with leaving this a mystery.
As far as the horse tranquilizer, I say we modify the deal that hhsrat and I came up with, where every CM gets to punch one guest a day. My guess is, most of them would be repeats within the first hour after park opening. But I would love to move that one forward. That way, if you walk up to a CM and start chewing them out, commenting on the size of their genitalia, making comments about their mom and they just start grinning... You'd better run. They haven't used up today's punch.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?
