My friends and I all decided to go to DL on a very hot Saturday in August several years ago. I think it was in 1999 and the park was PACKED. As we were all theme park employees we were all wondering what we were thinking. We spent the entire day and night there and by closing we were at each others throats. Probably one of the worst days I have ever spent at the park. :(
We made up by the next day, but for the longest time, I avoided going to the park on Saturday. It was that bad.

The Disney waterparks in July or August on a Saturday are something else. At least they have water to cool you off but what fun is a Lazy River that's so thick with people you can hardly get in much less get a tube.dazyhill wrote:My friends and I all decided to go to DL on a very hot Saturday in August several years ago. OK, Freak agrees with you whole-heartedly, so I must be missing something. I got one in 2009 and did not like it. Must be me....it's ok, I have weird taste buds.DisneyMom wrote:We all have our limits, we need to know when we are about to hit them and then Stop, Have that break with a drink or a snack, cool off from the heat and remember the fun is in the journey :)

I agree that you have to know your limits, but, especially when you're in Disney, it's kinda like "oh, just one more thing before I stop...".
And, whazzup, sorry if I offended you, I was actually trying to make fun a little because I always feel awful when we argue. God, I feel awful now just thinking back on it. And it's not like I am there to spoil the magic for others; I just got pushed a little too much and there is only so much any person can take. Surely you understand?

Of course I understand. Everyone has their limits, and I've been known to hiss at my dear hubby when I'm tired and cranky and he's pushed me too far over something trivial. I just remember the few times when we've encountered guests arguing with each other or with a CM, and we wish we hadn't observed it because it detracts a little from the magic of being in the parks. I don't want everyday life intruding on my happy place.DragonFox98 wrote: And, whazzup, sorry if I offended you, I was actually trying to make fun a little because I always feel awful when we argue.
