I know we didn't wrap our Gilligs because they were too new so the RTS buses were the ones we chose. They actually are more rounded then the Gilligs which always reminded me of having the aerodynamics of a brick. :D:
I have had that same thought. My favorite is the H3-45's from Prevost. Especially going over I-205 from Portland to Vancouver on a very windy day. One time I was running empty, started in the right hand side of the freeway (travelling about 40 miles an hour), a gust of wind caught my sail, err, the side of my bus, and I was suddenly in the far left lane.

I shudder to think of what may have happened had I been in the second or third lane from the right.

Short munk, about the same height as Martha Jones.

I cannot tell you how many times I have been driving down the interstate in Vermont at about 65 miles per hour, holding the steering wheel towards the right to combat the wind hitting the side only to have a truck pass me on the left, breaking my wind flow and causing me to have to quickly steer straight to avoid heading for the ditch.

Then, of course, the truck passes and again I would have to hurriedly steer toward the right again or get blown into the other lane. Fun times. Also since Vermont does experience it's share of winter weather it is good to note just how loose fitting the passenger doors are...the wind would blow snow and frigid air right into the areas around the doors and ultimately to the driver. The heater just couldn't keep up at times. I swear it was like living in the 1800's except I didn't have to feed the horse.

True enough. Next question, where was that picture taken? I want to take my wife there. A picture of her like that one would make her life.

Ever drive a Prevost H Car with a high windshield? I love how it's designed that if you have any, any air blowing for the comfort of the driver, it makes it a rather uncomfortable ride for the eyes of those in the front couple rows. But at least their doors get a fairly good seal going.

I don't remember ever driving a Prevost, I'll have to take your word for it. ;)

Sadly, the picture was taken at Chicago Tardis, a Chicago area Doctor Who convention. I do know there is an Orlando based Doctor Who con, usually in October, called Hurricane Who. Don't know if they have a TARDIS, or not, though. I've also managed to meet a fleet of Daleks and K-9 while at Chicago Tardis.

And Martha is short! I never noticed how short until Human Nature/Family of Blood, when she stood next to Thomas Sangster, and he was taller than her. Then I saw the shot of them at the TARDIS, where they had Tennant standing downhill, and was still taller than her. So my friend looked it up, and it turns out she's also 1 inch too tall for Mouse.

Mouse height is 4'8" - 5'0". Pooh height is 5'0" - 5'3". Munk height is 5'1" - 5'4".

Watching various Japanese shows taught me about "relative height"

In particular "Sasuke" "Kunoichi" and and live event featuring the voice actresses from a anime series called "K-On!"

I couldn't find the "curtain call" at the end but here is a picture (doesn't really show the height difference):

Image

The curtain call they are all standing in a line together and the girl with the guitar there towers over the others. I then later find out that she is only 5' 5".

Which made me wonder about the other girls. The next tallest was 5'2" with the shortest being 4'9".

I have no idea why I was so fascinated by that.
