I don't know how they do monorails but when I was in the busing business we would have bus wraps. They were wraps from the furthest point up front to the very end. No painting. If the paint job under was in good repair it didn't need any repainting. The wrap comes off surprisingly easy when you know the trick.

I believe for the main body the wrap is essentially the same as a bus wrap but because of the shape of cabs there was no way of wrapping them, they had to be painted. I can see having to repaint the entire train after removing the wrap, if nothing else to ensure the color of the cabs and cars match perfectly.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…
and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

What you are saying could very well be absolutely true, however, if you think about what the front of a bus looks like with windows, headlights, signal lights, destination signs, entrance doors, etc. it's hard to believe that the smooth tapered lines on the front and back of the monorails would be much of a trick to wrap.

I know that whenever we had a bus that needed to be wrapped it was usually chosen from the buses that needed painting anyway, so whether or not it did damage to the paint, it didn't matter. It was going to be painted anyway.

It could be worse...you could have a mediocre nightly "dance party" full of drunk SGTs known as elecTRONica, complete with TRON scenery and dancers (and for some reason, STILL showing a 10 minute "sneak peak" of Tron Legacy...).

I saw that in Jan. I like Flynn's though :)

Flynn's is cool! But is usually totally lost on the crowd that goes into elecTRONica. But some folks know what's down and go there, and it is totally cool.

It has been announced that it is extended until Spring 2012. I wish they change some aspects, such as the 3D "Sneak Peek!"

Rocket Scientist at "HISTA"/ Astro Orbitor,
Space Ranger at Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters

Woah! I missed something here. I never got to see any Tron Dance party.

It's on the other side. You guys have the TRONorail, and we have elecTRONica. :p:

Frankly, I think one of these coasts got a significantly better deal out of the whole Tron promotion thing, as outdated as it is by now (or maybe they're just hoping to run it all into when it becomes a promo for the next Tron?). I'm sure there are widely differing opinions on just which coast got that better deal - but I'd love to be able to pretend I was going through the portal to the grid. Cuz I'm a geek
