"A little swordplay, now and then, keeps my mind off sheep!"
"You're messing with my Zen thing, man."
"Dreams are as portals,
flat visions of misty places,
fragments bound below my surface,
but I can write dreams,
they flow from me,
inscribed but now unbound,
I touch them,
and they are real,
and they are real."

It'll be a cold day in hell before I pay that kinda price.
Beer....The reason I get up every,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,afternoon.
Re: The computer says it was at 1:00!
We think that Unibroue, out of Quebec, is some of the best beer around. We were over the moon when we found it being served at Le Cellier. We pretty much love their entire line, but DH like Le Finn du Monde the best. The bubbles in it are very like what you'd find in good champagne.delsdad wrote:Since we can only buy beer from a gov't run beer or liquor store here in Ontario, this will never happen here :(
At least we have an excellent selection at the larger stores. But with no Blue Moon available it is very sad...

Grrr!!! This system was design to torture entretainment CM!!
kurtisnelson the problem with this system is that guests use it inappropriately. Also, and to be honest, I think it has too much information. People love to twist information to their advantage, and the way this is set up it allows them to do exactly that.
Allow me to rant because this system gives me a headache. I was with this character and I had closed the line because we only had a couple of minutes and still had a few people to see. In comes this woman and I'm explaining that the character has to go to parade and proceed to give them the time it will be back. She takes out the phone and starts screaming that the character still has time because they leave at "this time. Look it says so right here" and proceeds to shove the phone in my face. I explain to her that we still have a couple of more guests to see. That's not good enough for her. She claims she still has time to see her kid because there is not that many people and the application says the character leaves at a certain time. The fact that I'm explain that I have already turned away a lot of other people doesn't matter to her. The application says she leaves at this time and so she insist I have to let her in. She is going to see the character, or so she claims.
She didn't see the character because I know when to cut my line and I did so with the exact time. I left the lady with a temper tantrum because her kid had not gotten to see any characters the entire day (That's a classic to say to us and when you see their books is fill with signatures) and that we were all unfair and she was going to take me to guest relations, blah, blah. I'm sick and tired of getting screamed because someone doesn't know how to read the damn times or because they can prioritize and think so high of themselves that they believe they are going to go and nobody else is going to be waiting for the character. Here's a tip: The more people know the less likely that it will be a tip and it becomes general knowledge. Therefore more people will be showing up, not only early, but in general. Be on time and quit whining at me.
Whew! Ok, thanks for letting me vent. Now tomorrow I can get another streams of screams.

I guarantee that somewhere within that application is the text "Wait times, attraction offerings, characters, entertainment are subject to change without notice". Unfortunately, it's probably in the license agreement which nobody ever reads.
If I got a guest complaining about something from the Mobile Magic App, I'd remind them that the license they agreed to said that times are subject to change without notice, and that they just changed.

Oh I have no doubt that it says that, but let's be real, they don't even read the signs in the parks! Now why would they read the agreements of an application?hhsrat wrote:I guarantee that somewhere within that application is the text "Wait times, attraction offerings, characters, entertainment are subject to change without notice". I have stop saying that line of 'entertainment is subject to change'. I know it is and the smart ones get it, but I just can't take the insults and the screams of the many that don't. I'm not looking for trouble, and over 90% of the time when I have said that line, instructed by someone, I have gotten scream for it. I just don't want to provoke them.

Screaming starts...key radio..let screaming go over air....clearly state, "ma'am, the <insert character line is closed. We will be back at <location> at XXXX time".
That should give your manager enough information to get security to your location and know that your guest is out of control. Discuss this with your lead/manager/whatever before you go out.
Security will explain the policy of good behavior and bad...as they escort said "former guest" out of area and maybe park.
